UNDERTOW 04:02
the devil said i would never feel like myself god is dead, we can bury him in the park you'll waste bullets on strangers who won't remember your name for the good you wish you'd cause i'm drowning in an undertow my god, i think i'll fight alone wash me up when you finally find me i'll drift in and out of your passing thoughts somewhere far away i'll belong strained voices, bad choices to follow me if i finally break i'll feel just fine you're the perfect excuse i've been waiting to arrive i'm drowning in an undertow my god i think i'll die alone i was made to ruin everything that's what i learned and it served me well, so wash me up when you finally find me i'll drift in and out of your passing thoughts i'm drowning i'm drowning i'm drowning in an undertow never been a fighter just a drifter my god i think i'll die alone never been a fighter just a drifter wash me up when you finally find me never been a fighter just a drifter i'll drift in and out of your passing thoughts never been a fighter just a drifter yeah i'll drift in and out of your passing thoughts

if it came down to you and me in the darkest of rooms i don't know which one of us i would choose when the devil starts to sing we will all see oh the people that we thought we would be don't hold your breath open your eyes i am finally becoming the monster that the good lord intended me to be when the angels start to sing we will all see oh the people that we thought we would be don't hold your breath no one is waiting open your eyes don't hold your breath no one is waiting open your eyes 'cause god isn't watching on the other side on the other side. i am finally becoming the monster that the good lord intended me to be. don't hold your breath open your eyes don't hold your breath no one is waiting open your eyes 'cause god isn't watching on the other side on the other side. don't hold your breath no one is waiting open your eyes 'cause god isn't watching on the other side on the other side. on the other side, we're on the other side.

about

(This is usually the section where I just make fun of myself for a few paragraphs but I've run out of jokes to tell about myself. I feel like there's really only so many ways you can say "this bitch sounds incredibly depressed and these songs are terrible," and I think I hit the point where I ran out of ways to say that, but just know I tried to come up with something funny for the last hour and could not think of anything.)

Two reworked songs I wrote in high school.

alsooooo we're now on Spotify and Apple Music up in this bitchhhh!!!! if you're a music normie who finds it incredibly inconvenient to listen to Apologist on bandcamp, you can now listen to both of these songs on Spotify!! Heck yeah!!!!
